He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Alexander and Bertha Wood; his former wife Elizabeth Alexander; his son Michael Alexander; and his siblings, Betty Gunter, Sarah Johnson, Flora Bronikowski, Evie Siminiak, Bertha Carol Brown, Sylvia Johnson, Carl Alexander and Mary Lou Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Gomoll (Tracy), Lee Alexander Jr. (Lynn Dee), Carl Alexander Sr. (Melanie), Randy Engelhardt, Charles Engelhardt (Evelyn) and Charlotte Easterling (T. J.); and his sister Reba Joann Allen. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
