He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Olive Zilba; his mother Annamarie Zilba; his aunt Lorna "Aya" Zilba of San Francisco; his uncle John Zilba (Pam) of Florida; his cousins, Jonathon Zilba of Florida and Stefanie Meiring (Michael); his grandchildren, Rosemary and Birch; his uncle George Zilba; his children, Juliana Furay (Rick), Rick, Jr., Elisa, Jerra, Jacqueline, Jeff Zilba (Leslie), Paige Zilba, Brandon Zilba, Mary Zilba (Canada), Chase Anderson, Cole Anderson, Chad Anderson, Greg Zilba (Stacey), Max Zilba, Jack Zilba, Lisa Zilba, Karis Kramp, Ellie Kramp, Caden Kramp, Anthony "Joey" Zilba (Betsy), Heidi Zilba and Brady Zilba; his cousins, Rita Ott (John), Winifred Soviar (Steve) and Jenny Zilba; and his pets, Easy and JuJu. He was also cherished by her five children.

He was looking forward to completing his degree when the COVID-19 pandemic swept the globe and the US economy and he had to suspend his studies.
