He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Schultz and Ellen Schultz; his wife Mary Joann; his daughter Susan Joann Kieper; his great grandchild Grace Lynn Kieper; his brother-in-law Albert Fischer; and his great-nephew Daniel Cunningham (Carolyn Niekranz).
He is survived by: his daughter Joyce Romaker; his grandsons, Matthew, James and David Kieper; his sister Eileen Fischer; his nephew Kenneth Fischer; and his niece Kathy Cunningham. He is also survived by nine loving great-grandchildren.
