She is survived by: her nephew James Michael Jr.; her children, Gary Dubose (Shanda), Zal'emone Dubose (Nancy), David Osby (Teresa) and Da'Lisa Osby; her siblings, James Michael Carter Sr. (Paulette), Donna Batts (Terri) and Isabelle "Cookie" Robinson (Craig); and her grandchildren, Dalasha, David, Dejuane, Anthony, Elliana, Tavaris, Amir, Ra'Von, Jazariya, Diore, Dimir, Davyn and Zy'Mire. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
