She was predeceased by: her husband Willy Aey; her parents, Dorothy Blanchard and Jerry Blanchard; and her granddaughter Brayleigh. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Steinman (Doug), Heidi Aey and Kurt Aey (Allison); her grandchildren, Brooke Aey, Dylan Aey, Courtney McClellan, Sophia Steinman, Devin, Kade and Dara Schroeder; her brother Garry Blanchard; and her boyfriend John Kominek. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Start High School Hall of Fame Scholarship Fund or Nature's Nursery, two causes close to her heart.
