She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Meyer and Martha Meyer; her husband Jerry Torgerson; and her siblings, Richard Meyer (Betty), Ronald Meyer (Molly), Mary Lou Mitchell (Lee), Joanne Schwandt (Raymond) and Shirley Grow (Dave).

She is survived by: her son Brian Meyer; her grandsons, Brian Meyer, Jr. (Arianna) and Mason Meyer; her great grandchildren, Hadleigh and Bjorn; and her brother Edmund Meyer (Janet). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
