She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Roenick and Margaret Roenick; and her siblings, Joan Pool, Jean Steele and George Roenick.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Downey; and her sons, John Nieman (Brenda), Kevin Nieman (Mimi), Randy Nieman, Steve Downey and Bruce Downey (Stephanie). She is also survived by ses 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many wonderful nieces and nephews.
