With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Elena Ramirez of Toledo, Ohio, born in Uvalde, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Reyes and Guadelupe Martinez; her husband Gilbert Ramirez; her mother-in-law Micaela Ramirez; and her grandson Emilio Rodriguez.
She is survived by: her children, Gilbert Jr. (Laura), Anita Feher (Patrick Sr), Monica Wachowiak (Kenneth), Patricia Ramirez, Jose (Beverly), Yolanda Sholl (Mark) and Fernando (Terri); her siblings, Rosario Jamie, Criselda Long (Leon Sr) and Juan Jose Reyes (Dolores); and her brother-in-law Raymundo (Alicia). She is also survived by grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sw Toledo Chapel (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:30 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church (1119 Bancroft St, Toledo, OH 43606).
