She was predeceased by: her parents, John Troyer and Hazel Troyer (Dye); her husbands, Stanley Van Pelt and Fred Stebbins; her grandson John DeCant Jr.; her great grandchild Haden DeCant; and her son-in-law Rick Grycza.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah DeCant (John), Stanley Van Pelt II (Sandra), Cynthia Bentley and Rebecca Grycza; her sister Vivian Lardinais (Robert); her grandchildren, Robyn (Jessica), Jennifer, Alysia (Thomas), Angela (Pedro), Keith, Richard, Michelle (Mathias), Joseph (Stephanie), Stanley III, Amanda and Jenna; her stepchildren, Lena, Lisa, Michael and Steven; and her nephew Gary Wengert, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. John's (5901 Airport Hwy, Toledo, OH 43615).
