The family announces the passing of Mary J. Sawers (Toledo, Ohio) on October 8, 2026. Mary, born on July 29, 1926, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joyce and Mary Kane Joyce; her husband Kenneth T. Sawers; and her brothers, James Joyce, John Joyce, Bernie Joyce, Michael Joyce and Vincent Joyce.
She is survived by: her brother Thomas Joyce; her children, Mary L. Sawers and Oliver Sawers; and her grandchildren, Nichol Harris, Merlin Sawers-Cozad and Heidie Sawers. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes (6149 Hill Ave, Toledo, OH 43615). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
