She was predeceased by: her parents, Ada Lee Hines and Earl Hines; her brothers, Willie James Baker and Ivery Lee Parker; and her grandson Marcus Darrington.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rongela, LaTonia McCann and Carrie Darrington; her grandchildren, Shatoya Smith (Shakayla McCann), Latosha Darrington, Cierra (Kierra Stuart), Me'Lyea Burton, Shamir, Shamar (Trinity Darrington), Dajuan Smith, Dionte and Armonte Darrington; her brother Louis Ray Hines; and her sisters-in-law, Betty Baker and Sandra Parker.
