It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Ward (Toledo, Ohio), who passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Melissa may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melissa touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Koster and Cathy Koster (Lowe). She is survived by: her husband Jonathan J Ward; her children, Aaron Ward, Natalie Carrico and Jonathan Ward; and her brothers, Jeremy Koster (Tiffani) and Matt Koster (Kerry).
