He is survived by: his sister Judi Nelson (Marty); his sister-in-law Joyce Ross; his uncle Jan Luelleman; his nieces, Brittani Berning (Craig), Andrani Nelson and Sarah Keller (Tyler); his great-niece Hannah Berning; his nephews, Christopher Nelson and Daniel Ross II; and his great-nephew Griffin Berning.
