He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Marckel and Theresa Marckel; his brother Joe Marckel; his niece Brittany Marckel; his grandparents, Edward, Alice Bell, Alta and Charles Marckel; and his cousins, Cory Bell and Matt Williams.

He is survived by : his children, Christy Korb (Jason), Ashley Marckel, Jordan Marckel (Cierra) and Reighann Marckel (Craig Vonlinsowe); his grandchildren, Corey, Kaleb, Cooper, Autumn, Savannah, Destiny, Madisyn, Bentley and Paizlee; and his siblings, Kim Marckel (Dale Ellis) and Terri Lou Marckel (Rick Smith). He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer - Sw Toledo Chapel (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
