She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Todak and Clara Todak (Kaczmarska); her husbands, James F. Hixenbaugh and John M. Best, Sr.; her siblings, Edward, Robert, Jerome, Raymond, James, Thomas, Genevieve and Alice; and her stepchildren, Julie, Patrick and John Jr..
She is survived by: her sons, James Hixenbaugh (Ellen) and William Hixenbaugh; her grandchildren, Todd Hixenbaugh (Meghan) and Ryan Hixenbaugh (Arica); her great grandchildren, Brynn and Sydney Hixenbaugh; her stepchildren, Steve Best (Eileen), Gina Shiffert and Charlotte Best; and her stepgrandchildren, Cameron, Lauren, Ashley, Patrick, Kristen, Ellen, Claire, Mark, Ben, Lily, Chloe and JJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Millie's honor to St. Pius X Catholic Church or the Toledo Area Humane Society.
