She is survived by: her friend Fridell Person; her brother Franklin Delano Lewis; and her children, Brenda McGhee Powell (Robert), Nila Jean Ussery (Jerome), Ravanna Turner Bey (Delise) and Tana Turner Bey. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
