He is survived by: his children, Alan Holmes, Cindy Smith, Carol Klocheska, James Holmes (Cindy) and Paul "PJ" Holmes; his grandchildren, Kyle, Courtney, Dennis (Maggie), John, Amy, Jason (Christine), Christine, Kalynn and James; his great grandchildren, Ella, Liam, Nathan and Ava; and his brother Ralph Ferris (Mary).
