He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Hayes and Margaret L. Hayes (Wyatt). He is survived by: his wife Karla Hayes (Garza); his brother Bill Hayes (Janet); his niece Kim Montgomery (Boyd); his great-nieces, Ashlynn and Kayleigh Lucas (Noah); and his great-nephew Zack.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1722 Cherry St, Toledo, OH 43608).
