She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bennett and Omelia "Solomon" Bennett; and her son Roderick Griffin Sr.. She is survived by: her daughter Katrina George; her daughter-in-law Shannetta Griffin (late Roderick Sr.); her great grandchild Chandler Williams-George; her niece Johnnie Mae Jones (Christover); and her brother-in-law Charlie Battle. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
