He is survived by: his father Joe Gabel; his wife Amy; his children, Savannah Shook (Cole Dalton), Zoey Shook, Jaxon Gabel and Lincoln Gabel; his stepchildren, Kyle Burghardt (Jasmine) and Kyla El Khechen (Ali); his grandchild A. J.; and his siblings, Veronica Gabel (Steven Ball), Jason Gabel (Shawn Collins), Lane Gabel (Jennifer) and Angela Gabel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
