He was predeceased by: his father Walter Brandeberry; his sister Peggy Jean Belch; and his brother-in-law Ken Sigler. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hart; his children, Jennifer Hart, Sianna Hart and Davyn Hart; and his siblings, David Hart (Linda), Dale Hart (Diane), Paul Brandeberry (Sue), Scott Brandeberry, Judy Sigler, Joyce Meinke and Bonnie Hart.

Preston's wishes were for no immediate gatherings to be held due to Covid-19.

Family asks that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
