We announce the death of Ralph Harry Plath of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on August 31, 2026, at the age of 95. Ralph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Plath and Emily Plath; his siblings, George and Reets; and his wife Marge Plath.
He is survived by: his children, Tim Plath (Sue), Dan Plath (Lani) and Lisa Dearth (Dennis); his grandchildren, Katie, Kelly, David (Lindsay), Shauna, Stuart, Hannah (Zach), Jacob and Ethan; and his great grandchild Olivia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 6th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
