He is survived by: his parents, Domingo Bocanegra and Juanita Bocanegra (Padilla); his daughters, Amanda Bocanegra, Rachel Pelley (Chris), Victoria Bocanegra and Crystal Bocanegra; his grandchildren, Emerson Cleghorn and Anthony Byrnes; and his sisters, Corina Vasquez (Joe), Lena Rometo (Art), Alice Bocanegra and Christine Shipman (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
