He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kirkendall and Theresa Kirkendall (Wood); and his siblings, Gary, Bill Kirkendall and Laura Fisher.
He is survived by: his wife Sallie Kirkendall; his daughters, Lindsey Cunningham and Stephanie Kirkendall; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jaelynne and Emma Cunningham; and his siblings, Tracy Kirkendall (Cheryl) and Sue Thomasson.
