He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray, Sr. Scott and Lenore Scott (O'Connell); his wife Sharon Scott; his daughter Lenore Scott; his grandson Hunter Cooper; and his siblings, Charlotte Scott-Dawson and John Scott.
He is survived by: his close friend Cindy L. Lloyd; his children, Tyson Scott, Amy Cooper (Robert) and Ray Scott, III (Heather); and his grandchildren, Austin Dempsey, Kirin Scott, Kyleigh Scott, Tyler Scott and Morgon Cooper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
