He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard and Elizabeth Duffey, Sr. (Skellie); and his siblings, Michael, Marcia Duffey and Beth Parker.

He is survived by: his wife Jennifer; his stepchildren, Nicholas Dehabey and Elizabeth Bobash (Steven); his grandchildren, Antonio and Jackie; and his sisters, Barbara Hardy (Bob) and Patricia Naseem (Saki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial tributes may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or the Toledo Firefighters Museum.
