Richard H. Hardt Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard H. Hardt of Toledo, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosalie Hardt (Lihs) and Herman Hardt; his wife Carol; his son David Hardt; and his siblings, Harold Hardt and Harriette Johnson Moore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Hardt and Mary Garcia (Joel); his grandchildren, Erica Wolff (Zach), Sarah Keller (Josh), Hannah Benbow (Kevin), Samuel and Abigail Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Adelyn, Max Wolff, Nolan and Owen Benbow.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sw Toledo Chapel (4752 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Catholic Church (4201 Heatherdowns Blvd, Toledo, OH 43614).
Memorial donations in Red's name may be made to the Ohio Living Hospice or the donor's choice.
