He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Louis Eggers, Sr. and Beverly Garnet Eggers; his sister Jeanne Eggers; and his stepson William W. Frank. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Eggers; his sons, Richard L. Eggers III (Elizabeth), Jeffery Eggers (Kelly) and Corey Eggers (Chelsea); his stepchildren, Kathy Thompson, Loraine Newman (Gerald), Luanne Craft (Eric), Ron Frank (Jamie) and Dan Frank; his siblings, Patrick Eggers (Patricia), Mary Sayre (Criss), Laurie Hull (Sam), Thomas Eggers and Christine Eyre (Kennth); and his pet Freddy. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
