He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Thorpe and June Thorpe (Morrow); and his brother Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Janice Kane; his children, Richard Jr. (Terra) and Anna Schenher (Corey); his close friend Avery; his grandson Isiah (Sabrina); his great grandchildren, Landen, Liam and Cameron; his close friends, Angelo and Sandee Colapietro; his godchildren, Bob Colapietro (Kelly) and Karen Truong (Tom); and his close friend Bill Theiss.

Toledo Hospital Rocks!Any donations made out to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Rich's name will be greatly appreciated by his family.
