He is survived by: his spouse Sandie Roe of Sylvania; his daughter-in-law Cat Carter; his children, Kristen Lyell (Bruce) and Jeremy Carter (Cristen); his grandchildren, Nick Carter, Kyle Carter (Megan), Alex Lyell (Chelsea), Josh Carter, Chelsea Lyell, Nate Carter (Nikki), Andrew Carter and Alyson Carter; his great grandchildren, Ezra, Eleanor, Lilly and Sophia Carter; and his siblings, Ed Carter, Helen Snyder and Mable Siefert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home & Crematory - Sylvania (5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
