He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hester and Kathleen Hester; his sisters, Loretta Hall and Kathy Wesson; and his parents-in-law, Eileen Haight and Richard Haight.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Hester; his son Christopher Hester; his siblings, Vance Hester (Helen) and Wynel Fite; and his brother-in-law Robert Haight. He is also survived by nephews and other extended family.
