He was predeceased by: his son Robert "Bobby" Gottschalk (Colleen); his parents, Alta McKinley and Robert Gottschalk; and his brothers, Jack and Larry Gottschalk.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Gottschalk; his children, Chad Gottschalk (Celia) and Laurie Ward; his brothers, Dutch Gottschalk (Jeanne) and Jeff McKinley (Karen); and his grandchildren, Robert Gottschalk (Amy), Josh Gottschalk, Patrick Brazeau (Jodi), Keira Gottschalk and Harper Gottschalk. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reeb Funeral Home (5712 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Bob's memory to Hospice of Northwest Ohio to who the family extends their greatest appreciation for the care he received.
