He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Thomas and Joseph Thomas; his wife Barbara; his grandson Ryan; and his siblings, Barbara, Theresa and Godfrey.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Jen), Therese (Larry), Paul (Lynne), Steve (Jean), Ken (Michelle), Diane Trainor (Dan), Elaine Miller (Don), Joe (Missy), Cheryl Ehrsam (Jim), Mike (Jen), Jenny Whited (Jamey) and Bobby (Amber); his siblings, Anthonia Burger, Dave (Pat), Anthony (Stella), Mary Alford and Christine; and his brother-in-law Marvin Traver (Karen). He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and 10; great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home - Oregon Chapel (440 S Coy Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Epiphany of the Lord Parish - St. Thomas (729 White St., Toledo, OH 43605).
