He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee; his sons, Freddy Wainsott (Tania) and John Soto; and his sisters, Darlene Biggs (David), Nancy Kay Rosiak (John) and Cindy Yarberry (Gary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
