Rupert Wilkes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rupert Wilkes of Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rupert Wilkes to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wilks and Iva Wilks (Pulley); his wife Norma Jean; and his siblings, John, Larry and Debbie.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Brown, Richard Mareaux (Danny), Denise Caris (Terry), Lisa Wilkes and John Wilkes; his siblings, Robert Wilkes (Brandi), Charles Wilkes (Debbie), Gloria Strasbourg (Joe) and Gladys Upchurch; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Wilkes and Marlene Wilkes. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Freck Funeral Chapel (1155 S Wynn Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park (3665 Genoa Rd, Perrysburg, OH 43551).
