It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sami Sayegh (Toledo, Ohio), who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Sami Sayegh to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Iskandar Sayegh (Nayfe Karam) and Sami; and his friends, Jeff Lydon, Judy Traver and Bradley Ansberg.

He is survived by: his siblings, Samia and Daoud; his siblings' children, Randa, Dania, Mirna, Rosie and Tony Baroud; his caregiver Soria Taha; and his friends, Sami Azar and Gordon Barry.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Friends of Al Younbouh, and organization that supports rehabilitation to children and adults with mental disabilities and special needs. “We decided to move to Toledo and the first property we looked at was courtesy of Sami. His neighbor needed to move so Elias Abou-Arraj arranged with Sami for us to see the condo. Not knowing us but for Elias' recommendation, Sami waved us in to his home, fixed Arabic coffee, and made us feel so welcome! We always looked for Sami behind the bar at the Beirut. We will miss seeing him there and around town, and are so grateful to have made his acquaintance. Our sympathy to his family.”
