She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry McKnight and El Nora McKnight (Cramer); and her siblings, William McKnight, Michael McKnight and Martha Otwell.

She is survived by: her husband James Emrick (Wes); her children, David Best, Daniel Best (Connie), Lori Best and Michelle Mallett (Aaron); her grandchildren, Jordan Best (Austin), Tyler Mallett (Kelsey), Nicholas Best, Amy Best and Mackenzie Mallett; her great grandchildren, Emma, Scarlett, Brody, Violet and Charlie Belle; her siblings, Susie Rizzen (Bruce), Mary Backstrom (Larry), Patrick McKnight (Jennifer) and Robert McKnight; and her pets, Lenny, Smokes, Jimmy, Pumpkin, Quinn, Addie and Baby. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Franciscan Sisters of Sylvania or the Toledo Humane Society.
