She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Schellhase and James Schellhase; her friends, Cindy Heins and Valerie Swanson; her brother George Makara; and her former husband David B. Etzel.
She is survived by: her son Dave Etzel (Val); her sister Judy Kasper (Bob Wilson); her grandchildren, David Chevy Etzel, Dan Lewandowski, Katic Kovacs and Suzanne Lewandowski; and her great grandchild Rosalee Marie. She is also survived by her brother, George's widow, four nieces and three nephews.
The family suggests tributes to St. Clements Church, the Alzheimer's Association or Ebeid Hospice.
