Sofia Vogiatzis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sofia Vogiatzis in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Athanasios Valavanis and Olympia Valavanis. She is survived by: her children, Vasilios Vogiatzis (Angela) and Olympia; her grandchildren, Katherine Katrakozos (Sam), Ignatios Ntakos, Sophia McCabe (Jay) and Stratos Vogiatzis (Lesley); her great grandchildren, Manny, James Katrakozos, Liam, Lucas McCabe and Vassi Vogiatzis; her husband Etstratios Vogiatzis; and her siblings, Froso Yiannakelli and Kostas Valavanis.
