He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Esper and Ruth Esper (Saunders); and his brothers, Jamie, Edward, Charles, John, Lawrence and Martin Esper.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Grant); his daughter Tammy Collins (Dan); his grandchildren, Jase and Alexa Collins; his sister Rita Abi Zeid (George); and his sister-in-law Kathleen Esper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society.
