She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Dembek and Mary Dembek (Horoszewski); and her husband Charles Smith. She is survived by: her children, Nick Smith (Sally), Brenda Forche (Bill) and Debbie Knerr; her daughter-in-law Debbie Smith; her grandchildren, Josh Smith (Laura), Korrin Steinhurst (Brad), Ben Forche (Mandy), Jessica Arnold (Mike), Danielle Smith, Christie Otero (Eric), Alex Smith (Amber) and Dakota Knerr; her great grandchildren, Dorian Pannell (Lindsey), Charlie Smith, Brayden, Kylie Steinhurst, Charlotte, Sadie, Milo, Sawyer Forche, Rowan Arnold, Micah, Xander, Trace Otero, Colton, Laney and Bexley Smith; and her great great grandchildren, Holden and Baby Boy Pannell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Castillo Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1757 Tremainsville Rd, Toledo, OH 43613). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (4227 Bellevue Rd, Toledo, OH 43613).
