He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Dressel and Georgiana Dressel; his uncle Robert "Unk" Hoover; and his brothers, Robert and Jeffery Dressel.
He is survived by: his wife Shirlene Dressel; his son Travis Dressel (Leigh); his stepdaughters, Angi Parks (Doni) and Melissa Davis (Shawn); his grandchildren, Clara, Briar, Eveie and Tyler; his siblings, Jean Kerr (Dan), Charlie Dressel (Shelley) and Gary Dressel (Marian); his niece Lynn Yarnboon (Steve); and his nephew Matt Dressel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3655 King Rd, Toledo, OH 43617). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toledo Fire Museum, Cherry Street Mission, or Cuties Fund at Lucas County Canine Care & Control.
