He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Stewart (Fox) and Thomas Milton Stewart; his wife Barbara E. Ruzicka; his children-in-law, Richard Fox, Donald Stein and Angela Stewart; his grandson Travis Ryan; and his siblings, Harriet Smith, Eileen Miller and Roy Rathbun.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Ellen Fox, Elizabeth Stein, Susan Stein (William), Thomas Stewart (Laurel), James Stewart, Carol Ryan (Thomas), Dorothy Switzer (Kevin), William Stewart and Kathleen Kuns (Gary, Jr.); his grandchildren, Lisa Beymer (Jason), Duncan Stoker (Dottie), Kristine Kegerreis (Robert), Matthew Anderson (Samantha), Leslie Lynch (John), Christopher Stein (Angela), Jason Stein (Deborah), Jennifer Stein, Lynn Morrissey (Kevin), Timothy Stewart (Sara), Thomas Gerald Stewart (Jennifer), Amanda Kenyon (Jason), Katherine Ricke (Nicholas), Jaqueline Stewart, Eric Ryan (Hillary), Shawn Ryan (Allison), Rebecca Gibson (Richard), Andrew Ryan (Jaclyn), Zachary Switzer, Tyler Switzer, Garrett Switzer, Gary Kuns, III and Elizabeth Kuns; his great grandchildren, Eric, Alex, Tristan, Joseph, Mira, Joshua, Matisse, Charlotte, John, Sarah, Oliver, Brendan, Paige, Madeline, Lucas, Logan, Colin, Connor, Caleb, Reagan, Shea, Owen, Michael, Meghan, Thomas Jakob, Tyler, Jackie, Brie, Jaxon, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Kane, Carter, Lane, Eli, Henry, Claire, Grace and Caden; and his great great grandchild Connor.
All state mandated precautions regarding facial coverings and social distancing will be strictly enforced for all services. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated 11:00am Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Gesu Church, 2049 Parkside Blvd. Due to current conditions caused by the ongoing pandemic, we are offering a Live Stream of the Funeral Mass for Thomas beginning at 10:45am for those who wish to attend the Mass virtually.
