He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Jenean Campbell (Young); his wife Yadira Ricardez Chapa; his children, Marie Smith (Matthew) and Aaron Campbell; his grandson Jacob Weir; and his siblings, Reba Campbell, Michele Lowe (Anthony) and William Campbell (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
