He is survived by: his wife Sharon VanderHorst; his children, Jeffrey VanderHorst (Nischa Westphall), Tommy VanderHorst (Kaitlyn), Mitch VanderHorst (Sierra), Sara Hackler (Aaron) and Andrea Miller (Mike); his grandchildren, Teddy, Cullen, Finn, Saylor, Addison, Kama and Xavier; and his siblings, Linda Achinger, Joyce Schuett (Gary), Joe VanderHorst (Audrey) and Mark VanderHorst (Jody).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the David R. Jasin-Hoening Funeral Home (5300 N Summit St, Toledo, OH 43611). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
