Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Towne Robert Abercrombie of Toledo, Ohio, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 83, on July 3, 2025. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Towne Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carole; his parent Gene Abercrombie (Helen); his brother Doug Abercrombie; and his granddaughter Rebecca Towne Abercrombie. He is survived by: his son Gene Abercrombie (Jean); his grandchildren, Joshua and Sydney Abercrombie; and his brother R. Thomas Abercrombie (Kristine). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Springfield Township Cemetery (7620 Airport Hwy, Holland, OH 43528).
