He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Vogt and Jaqueline Vogt; his stepfather Bob; his significant other Brenda Hall; his stepson Randy; and his sister-in-law Audrey Vogt.
He is survived by: his son Brian Vogt (Jodi); his stepsons, Dave and Mike Hall; his grandchildren, Anthony Hall, Bryant Hall, Blake Hall, Chase Hall and Mila Vogt; his siblings, Vicki Wiseman (Fred), Tracy Dagostino and Kevin Vogt; and his daughter-in-law Matasha Storey. He is also survived by two nephews; and one niece.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home & Crematory - Sylvania (5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Epiphany Lutheran Church (915 N Reynolds Rd, Toledo, OH 43615).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Maumee Valley Adventurers, an organization that was part of Vern's love for cycling and the adventures he enjoyed.
