He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Bertwistle and Virginia Bertwistle; and his sister Sandy Boyle. He is survived by: his wife Renee; his daughters, Tracy Benner (Rich), Jennifer Bert (Jason Lewis) and Megan Wamer; and his grandson Brendan Bert. He is also survived by his wife, daughters, grandson, brother-in-law, and a host of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (4150 W Laskey Rd, Toledo, OH 43623). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
