He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Boykin; his sons, Leslie and Jeffery; his grandchildren, Alleeyan Allen, Nichole Brannon and Annie Morrison; his nieces, Margaret and Dorothy; and his sister-in-law Ella Hayes (Melvin). He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
