He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. Phillips and Frances M. Phillips (Marcoldi); and his son Ryan C. Phillips. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Mike Helon; his wife Cheryl A. Phillips (Heaton); his daughter Dana Troski; his grandchildren, Quinn of Toronto and Logan of Toronto; his stepchildren, Shane Neely of Colorado and Cory Neely of Toronto; his stepgrandchildren, Annabel, Elise, Iliza and Marcus; and his sisters, Donna Delfiandra (Mike) of Michigan and Kendra Helon (Matt Lovinski). He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foster Funeral Home (701 Findley St, Toronto, OH 43964). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
